1/2 Day Foodie Experience in Vietnam

Explore Ho Chi Minh City - still known to locals as Saigon - in style, as you zip along on two wheels on a fun-filled Saigon vespa tour. Take a look at the city's landmarks lit up at night before sampling delicious food and nightlife, Vietnam style.

Around 18:00, our experienced driver on a vintage Vespa will pick you up from your hotel and take you to for a complimentary welcome drink at a local bar, where you can enjoy the panorama of the city. Then set off into the bustle of evening time in Saigon in style, passing landmarks and experiencing the city on two wheels as the Vietnamese do.

Your destination is a small alley to try a typical Saigonese streetlife experience: pre-dinner snacks of specialities like Vietnamese pancakes and spring rolls, enjoyed with an ice cold beer. Continue your culinary discovery of Ho Chi Minh City with some delicious seafood at a small restaurant popular with locals. Your Saigon nightlife experience wouldn’t be complete without some music, so head to a cafe for dessert accompanied by Vietnamese singers and acoustic musicians. Last stop is a drink in a bar where you can enjoy rock or jazz before drop off at your hotel around 22:00.

As this evening itinerary relies entirely on small, local vendors, 65% to 70% of the net tour cost remains within the immediate host neighbourhoods. It directly pays independent drivers, multi-generational street-food stalls, and local acoustic musicians. The street food stops (such as Bánh Xèo vendors) support small-scale food sellers, helping them combat rising urban rents and displacement by commercial retail chains. Also, using and maintaining vintage Vespas helps to support an entire local ecosystem of specialised mechanics and vintage parts suppliers.
