This itinerary is designed with families in mind, particularly those with pre-teen children, and includes all the must-see highlights of Sri Lanka. Watch elephants roaming freely in the wild, explore the rich heritage and culture of Kandy, climb world-famous Sigiriya Rock and witness the magical sight of monkeys playing among ancient temples. A visit to a local village and primary school, both supported through our community partnerships, is often a highlight for families. You'll also have the chance visit lush tea plantations, take a ride on the photogenic highland train and unwind on the beach for a few days.

To keep your trip relaxed, we’ve kept the number of stops down so you won’t be changing hotels every night, and included free days and optional activities for when you need some downtime. We've chosen Pasikudah for the beach stay, as it's perfect for younger children with its calm shallow waters, golden sands and snorkelling spots.

Our goal is a holiday that combines the natural beauty of Sri Lanka with experiences of a new culture to make memories that last a lifetime!
