We really believe that your accommodation should add to the travel experience, so we avoid characterless and impersonal 'could be anywhere' resorts and big hotels. Instead we favour places that are small scale, true to the local culture and built in harmony with their surroundings.
To be used by us, hotels also need to go above and beyond when it comes to responsibility. All the hotels we use meet our minimum ethical criteria.
